Relationship Ideals
Describe the type of relationship you are looking for. What qualities would you like (or maybe not like so much) in this relationship or person?

I am interested in meeting someone who loves the Lord, puts Christ in the center of his life, feels free talking about the Lord, and has a strong desire to know more of God throughout his life. I pray the man the Lord places in my life is family-oriented and desires to love his wife as Christ loves the Church and will treasure and serve his family in the Lord. The traits I find attractive are a sense of humor, faithfulness, openness, honesty, tenderness, adventurous, responsible and mature. I believe the Lord intended the man to be the provider and protector of his family and for the woman to be the nurturer and homemaker in the family. I also desire to marry a man who has saved himself physically for his wife.

Personality & Character
Describe a little about your personality and character traits. (Are you funny, laid back, more serious, open, shy, etc?)

I think I'm between an extrovert and introvert. I enjoy parties and being with people and having a great time but I also enjoy some time alone. I like to joke around, but I also like to talk about current events.

Faith
Describe your faith. Where are you at and what are your goals? What Scripture verses are important to you? How do you get close to God?

I was raised Roman Catholic but I did not have a personal relationship with Jesus until the end of my first year in University. My brother witnessed to me for about a year and after searching for understanding, I came to a realization that Jesus Christ is Lord and died for my sins, and that He loves me and offers forgiveness when I repent. Since then I have come to know God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit in a more intimate way. I now attend a weekly Bible study and co-facilitate a bimonthly Bible study on relationships. My goal is to know God more and to learn to be more sensitive to His voice and His ways in my life. There are so many great verses! All of His Word is great. The first Scripture I memorized was Prov. 3:5.

First Date
What would be the perfect setting for a first meeting with a new friend or date?
Describe it

I would like to meet someone at a cafe, go on a picnic or meet in a casual atmosphere where both of us can feel comfortable.

Favourite Activities
What are your favourite activities? Include sports, leisure, artistic/musical, etc.

I enjoy swimming, running, tennis, biking, hiking, jet skiing, volleyball, aerobics, canoeing and working out at the gym. I like Bible studies, travelling, politics, and playing board games too. I also enjoy cooking and experimenting with different recipes, going to plays and the symphony, museums, and just about anything educational or interesting.

Describe your current occupation. Do you like what you do?
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I worked a law office for about four years and then three years ago I began writing a book. I am now in the editing stage and hope to be finished soon! In 5 years I hope to have my book finished and helping with the marketing end of it. I also pray I will have met my husband and have started a family or just getting ready to begin a family.

Where did you go to school (i.e. high school or polytech/university, etc.)?
What did you study? Did you like it? What might you study next?

I attended the University of Auckland. My favorite subjects were creative writing and international studies, and my major was law with a political science emphasis. I had a great and memorable University experience.

Goals & Dreams
What are some of your personal goals in life? What do you want to be remembered for?

I would like to know that I have made a difference in the lived of my family and friends.

Past Relationships
What caused your last relationship to end? What did you learn?

I haven't had a serious relationship in a while. My last serious relationship was during University when I was a new Christian. After graduation, we were headed in different directions and grew apart. I didn't believe it was the Lord's will for us to be together, and I knew I had a lot to learn still. After University, I learned so much about the differences between a godly relationship, and an ungodly one. Since my last relationship in University, I have tried to focus on the Lord first, and develop friendships in the Lord. I continue to date, but usually I can tell if it's the Lord's will to have more than a friendship on the first few dates. I'm thankful He has a plan for each one of us, and will bring the right person at the right time. :)

Travels & Adventures
Where were you born? Have you ever traveled? If so, where? What is your ideal adventure?

Yes, I've travelled to Europe and visited Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and Austria. I've also visited Israel, Egypt, Taiwan and Hong Kong. I've travelled to the West and East coasts of the South Island of NZ. I've also visited Dunedin and Oamaru, and lived in Wanaka for about four years.
